Having someone to turn to that understands the needs of your museum, library, archive, or historic site can be a life saver in an emergency situation. This is where the volunteers who serve on the Pennsylvania Cultural Response Team (PaCRT) come in.
The team is comprised of approximately 50 emergency management and cultural professionals from across the state. The volunteers receive intensive annual training on emergency response and recovery resources, health and safety, and best practices for response to an emergency involving a cultural institution. The volunteers are deployed as needed to regional institutions.
